Brandywine Yellow tomatoes are garden stars, celebrated for their large, golden fruits that glow with flavor. This heirloom variety produces beefsteak tomatoes weighing 10 to 16 ounces, with smooth, firm skin—perfect for slicing into sandwiches, salads, or fresh eating. The flesh is juicy and meaty, delivering a rich, sweet tomato flavor with a mild tang.
Why grow Brandywine Yellow? A vibrant twist on the 1800s Brandywine line, this indeterminate plant reaches 4–6 feet with support, yielding a steady crop through the season. It thrives vigorously, offering gardeners a taste of classic excellence with no specific disease resistance, lasting strong until frost.
Grown naturally and pesticide-free, our Brandywine Yellow starter plants arrive vibrant and ready to thrive in your garden. Nurtured with care, they promise a rewarding harvest of these beautiful tomatoes.

I was pleasantly surprised at how fast the shipment came. This was my first time ordering plants through the mail and I was not sure what to expect. However, these were healthy and packaged very well. I could not replant them fast enough and am looking forward to harvesting and tasting these, as they are one of my favorites.

I ordered 5 heirloom tomato plants and the bubblegum monarda. They all arrived in beautiful condition. Boy do they know how to package plants for shipping! I was very pleasantly surprised be how large the plants were since this was my first order. I will definitely order from Grow Joy again. I also ordered a butterfly bush that will ship in June. I can hardly wait for it to get here. Thank you Grow Joy for sending plants that are so wonderful.

From Gerald | March 19, 2013
I have grown this plant before and loved the taste of the flesh. Juicy and full of flavor. A very vigorous growing plant. Hope planting it this late in the season will help it to grow much bigger fruit than the last plant from another company.
