Amelia tomatoes are garden powerhouses, renowned for their large, robust fruits that stand up to tough conditions. This hybrid variety yields bright red tomatoes typically weighing 8 to 10 ounces, with smooth, firm skin that resists cracking—perfect for slicing into salads, sandwiches, or fresh eating. The flesh is juicy and meaty, offering a rich, classic tomato flavor with a balanced taste.

Why grow Amelia? This determinate plant produces a concentrated crop in a short window, excelling with exceptional disease resistance, including Fusarium, Verticillium, and Tomato Spotted Wilt Virus. Developed for the Southeast, it’s a top pick for gardeners seeking reliable, high-quality tomatoes that thrive in heat and humidity, delivering consistent yields with vigor.

Grown naturally and pesticide-free, our Amelia starter plants arrive healthy and ready to perform in your garden. Nurtured with care, they ensure a bountiful harvest of these tough, tasty tomatoes.

Awesome Plants

I've never ordered from Growjoy before. I must admit I was a bit hesitant. My order arrived as promised. All the plants were packaged as to prevent any damage. They are in the ground now and I can't wait! This was a great experience. I will update with pictures as the season progresses.

First time order

Ordering was very simple. Plants arrived in great condition. I have never planted this type of tomato plant before and I’m looking forward to seeing what it produces. However I cannot plan for another three weeks in my area as were still expecting snow. I hope the plant last indoors until I can plant outside.

Tomato

The tomato plant arrived quickly and in excellent condition. I just planted it a few days ago and it already has a blossom on it.
