Plant Features

Black Varnish Pseuderanthemum Plant is almost always grown for its distinctive foliage! Bearing oval, deeply veined and textured leaves, the uppermost color is very similar to eggplant, being more maroon on the undersides. In the shade it can appear black, but is so glossy that it never gets lost in the shadows. As summer nears its end, the leaves may fade to deep maroon. It will be studded with petite purple and white blossoms in the spring.
