Blizzard® Dark Red Geranium Plants produces an abundance of single, retro-red blossoms with widespread petals and semi-trailing ivy-like foliage! This makes them ideal for window boxes, deck boxes, hanging planters and stand-type planters, they are sometimes called hanging geraniums, and offer very pretty ivy-like leaves and a well-rounded shape. If you live where summer temperatures are regularly above 90°F, you'll want to provide some afternoon shade. Known to attract hummingbirds.

Planting Instructions:

  • - Plant in spring after the last frost date
  • - Space plants 12-18 inches apart to allow for trailing growth

Watering Specifics:

  • - Remove spent blooms to promote continuous flowering

Additional Pest Management:

  • - Monitor for common pests like aphids, whiteflies, and spider mites
  • - Watch for signs of root rot if overwatered

Blooming Indicators:

  • - Produces clusters of single or double flowers on trailing stems
  • - Blooms continuously from spring through fall

Light Requirements:

Ivy Geranium

Geranium plants arrived healthy with well developed roots and buds.

From anonymous | May 09, 2013

Ordered ivy geranium plants

The plants were packed in a hard body case, and arrived very healthy looking, with no signs of wilting. I'm very pleased.

My favorite...

I love this geranium. It has been growing about a week in a small pot that will certainly have to be replaced with a bigger pot soon.
