Chandler Strawberry Plants produces medium to large, beautifully wedge-shaped juicy fruit with exceptional flavor. This June bearing variety may produce earlier in warmer climates, is mildly salt tolerant and under the optimal growing conditions will produce about 1-quart per bush over a 3 to 4-week period.;

Planting Instructions:

  • - Can be transplanted spring or fall

Soil Preparation:

  • - Ideal soil pH: 5.5-6.8
  • - Add compost and ensure soil is well-draining

Watering Specifics:

  • - Water deeply and consistently
  • - Mulch to retain moisture and suppress weeds

Fertilizer Type:

  • - Year of planting: Use a balanced fertilizer at planting, then again 8 weeks later, then in again in August if spring planted
