Delicious Tomato Plants produce large fruits with small seed cavities and very little cracking. Most tomatoes are over 1-pound. It holds the world record for largest tomato, over 7-pounds! Grow it and you'll see why its one of our customer favorites.

Our Delicious Tomato Plants are grown with a commitment to natural methods, ensuring they're healthy and robust. Guaranteed to arrive alive and thriving!

Planting Instructions:

- Transplant after danger of frost has passed
- Soil temperature should be at least 60°F

Soil Preparation:

- Ideal soil pH: 6.0-6.8
- Add compost or well-rotted manure (best done in the fall)

Watering Specifics:

- Water deeply and regularly
- Avoid wetting leaves to prevent disease

Fertilizer Type:

- Use a balanced 5-5-5 fertilizer or our recommended Espoma Tomato Tone at planting

Pruning and Training:

- Removing suckers is optional
- Stake or cage plants for support

Pollination:

- Self-pollinating, but benefit from insect, wind, or mechanical movement

Additional Pest Management:

- Watch for tomato hornworms
- Monitor for signs of blight or other fungal diseases
- Use Serenade Garden Disease Control or a copper fungicide as needed

Storage:

Delicious indeed!

This is a very tasty mid-sized tomato. The plant arrived amazingly fast and in very good condition. Now transferred to a larger temporary pot, and due to be planted in the ground this week, the plant is growing quite well.

Doing well after a few days

The young plant arrived safe and well protected in the shipping wrapping. Planted outside in container on April 30, once we had days in the 60s/70s and nights in 40s/50s. (I’m in zone 7.). It is doing well and has doubled in size after two sunny days.

Doing Just Great!

Bought 2 of the Delicious Tomato Plants and they were planted 9 days ago. Both doing well with very little trauma. One has 5 flowers, the other has two.... in just 9 days. I will buy again next season. I am very pleased with the plants and how they were shipped.
