Fireworks Pennisetum Grass Plant

The Fireworks Fountain Grass Plant is not quite as hardy as many of the ornamental grasses, but possesses a 'Wow' Factor unlike any other and still exhibits the moderate salt tolerance our coastal gardeners appreciate. The variegated blades have longitudinal stripes that go from reddish-green to burgundy with white to hot pink margins. Slender pale red plumes appear in early summer, changing to purple as temperatures cool.
