Planting Instructions:

• - Space plants 18-24 inches apart to allow for mature spread

Watering Specifics:

• - Water regularly to keep the soil consistently moist, especially during dry periods
• - Avoid overwatering to prevent root rot, particularly in poorly drained soils

Fertilizer Type:

• - Feed with a balanced fertilizer monthly during the growing season until early August to promote vigorous growth and prolific blooming
• - Cease fertilization in late summer to prepare plants for dormancy

Pruning and Training:

• - Pinch back tips through early July to encourage bushiness and more blooms
• - Cut back foliage after flowering to tidy the plant and help prevent disease

Additional Pest Management:

• - Monitor for pests such as aphids and spider mites
• - Treat with organic or chemical insecticides as necessary, always following label instructions

Temperature Tolerance:

• - Mulch around the base in fall to protect roots during harsh winters
