Mariana tomatoes are garden staples, celebrated for their uniform, flavorful fruits that shine in both fresh and processed dishes. This hybrid variety yields deep red saladette tomatoes typically weighing 4 to 6 ounces, with smooth, firm skin that resists cracking—perfect for sauces, canning, salsa, or fresh eating. The flesh is thick-walled and juicy, offering a rich, well-balanced tomato flavor with excellent firmness.

Why grow Mariana? Widely used across NAFTA and Central American markets, this determinate plant produces a concentrated crop in a short window, thriving in hot conditions with strong disease resistance, including Fusarium Wilt, Verticillium Wilt, and Alternaria Stem Canker. Its reliability, versatility, and high yields make it a top choice for gardeners seeking quality Roma tomatoes that perform consistently, whether grown staked or on the ground.

Grown naturally and pesticide-free, our Mariana starter plants arrive healthy and ready to perform in your garden. Nurtured with care, they deliver a bountiful harvest of these dependable, high-quality tomatoes.

Healthy sturdy plants

Mariana sauce tomato

I love these tomatoes for sauce! They have 2 seed cavities and few seeds so they are easy to prepare. I grew these a few years ago and have been trying to find them since. Last year and this year I found them at Grow Joy so I'm extremely happy to get them. The plants arrived strong and healthy. I've gotten other hard-to-find from Grow Joy also and they've all been healthy and have done well.

Photos do not do it justice

Wow. First time growing this type of tomato (and first purchase from this site - will not be the last). The plant took off from the start, after arriving well packaged and safe. This has continued to provide nice, firm, longer than pictured tomatoes. Wonderful flavor. Like a Roma but slightly sweeter in our opinion. Winner. Very prolific producer.

Excellent

Plants arrived professionally packed and in perfect condition. The plants are large and very healthy and are now thriving in my garden. This is a company that provides an excellent product in a timely manor which is not easy to do with live produce. I would absolutely order from GrowJoy again!!
