Planting Instructions:

  • - Can be planted anytime the soil temps are above 60F

Soil Preparation:

  • - Ideal soil pH: 6.0-7.0, prefers well-drained, fertile soil
  • - Amend soil with compost to improve fertility

Watering Specifics:

  • - Water plants deeply but infrequently, allowing the soil to dry out between waterings
  • - Sage is drought-tolerant once established

Fertilizer Type:

  • - Apply a light application of balanced fertilizer in early spring if needed
  • - Over-fertilization can lead to excessive growth at the expense of flavor

Pruning and Training:

  • - Regular harvesting encourages a bushier plant and prevents legginess

Additional Pest Management:

  • - Garden Sage is generally pest-resistant but can be susceptible to fungal diseases in humid conditions
  • - Ensure good air circulation and avoid overhead watering to minimize disease risk

Temperature Tolerance:

  • - Sage can tolerate cold temperatures but may need protection from the harshest winter conditions

LOVE THE AROMA!

Arrived in secure packaging, safe and healthy….seemed a bit tiny though. Size doesn’t always matter, as since transplant into a grow pot this little herb has grown into a very large plant. Hoping the flavor is as big as its size and aroma!

Soon ready to bloom!

I had Pineapple Sage previously that reseeded, but not this year. I look forward to blooms in a few weeks on this large plant. I put it in a large pot so I can bring it indoors for the winter.

WoW the scent is amazing

I've not grown pineapple sage for many years...so decided to give it a try at 1/2 price. The plant is very healthy and unlike most online companies...comes with great roots and robust.

Beautiful Pineapple Sage!

This plant is just flat-out gorgeous! It grows like a champ, and has a wonderful (and pungent) sweet smell. I can't wait for it to start flowering I already have a vision of redoing some areas of the front lawn to predominantly display THIS plant. Who's got two thumbs up and is super happy about their purchase? This guy!! :)

Pineapple Sage Looking good!

Had one of these and my dogs got to it. This one is planted safely away from them. Known for prolific growth in our area it is doing well in the garden and growing already a few inches.
