Princess Molly Pennisetum Grass Plant

The Princess Molly Pennisetum (Fountain Grass) Plant is named after another of Dr. Hannah's granddaughters. A true dwarf, Molly has wonderful tri-color foliage. Wide, deep, olive green blades have a dark purple, almost black, midrib, while the margins and sometimes the whole blade are a rich bluish-purple. Its shorter size and compact habit make it not only an exceptional accent plant for summer color but a unique container plant, either planted alone or growing above shorter foliage or flowering plants.
