Plant Features

Roma tomatoes are kitchen essentials, loved for their compact, meaty fruits that make processing a breeze. This open-pollinated variety yields bright red tomatoes weighing 2 to 4 ounces, with thick, firm skin—perfect for sauces, canning, or fresh use in salads. The flesh is dense and less juicy, delivering a mild, classic tomato flavor.

Why grow Roma? Known for its determinate growth, this plant reaches 3–4 feet, producing a concentrated crop through the season. With resistance to Fusarium and Verticillium Wilt, it’s a reliable choice for gardeners seeking versatile tomatoes that perform well in a compact, bushy form.

Grown naturally and pesticide-free, our Roma starter plants arrive strong and ready to thrive in your garden. Nurtured with care, they ensure a steady harvest of these practical tomatoes.

Big

Very tall already good thick stalk of plant and lots of root structure. ONLY complaint is both my tomatoes were very dry and should have been in a larger container for there size. Boarderline root bound out of the gate

Plant came in good condition, planted it four weeks ago, and it is thriving and has tomatoes already.

Roma Tomato

Both plants arrived in secure packaging, drooping leaves, no damage to plants. Watered 10 minutes later they perked up standing about 7 tall with several blossoms. Been in ground about a week now, exhibiting signs of new growth, and the blooms are still going strong! Very Happy.

Excellent Quality

My plants arrived in secure packaging that ensured no amount of rough handling during shipment would harm them in any way. The plants were healthy and strong right out of the box. They took me back to the taste of grandma's spaghetti sauce. Don't waste your money on store-bought plants. Who knows what they've been through and you always get what you pay for!

Delightfully Surprised

I have never previously ordered live tomato plants before and I have to say I was surprised at how well of condition they arrived. They were strong, healthy and already started some flowers. Haven't had any of the fruit yet as it's too early in the season, but I'd order them again.
