Planting Instructions:

  • - Plant in spring for best results
  • - Choose a pot with drainage holes to prevent overwatering

Soil Preparation:

  • - Use a well-draining potting mix, preferably one designed for houseplants
  • - A mix of peat moss, perlite, and pine bark works well

Watering Specifics:

  • - Keep the soil consistently moist but not soggy
  • - Water when the top inch of soil feels dry to the touch
  • - Yellowing leaves may indicate overwatering

Fertilizer Type:

  • - Use a balanced, water-soluble fertilizer every 6-8 weeks during the growing season (spring and summer)
  • - Reduce feeding in fall and winter when growth slows

Pruning and Training:

  • - Trim off any yellow or brown leaves at the base
  • - Deadhead spent flowers to encourage new blooms

Additional Pest Management:

  • - Watch for pests like spider mites, aphids, and mealybugs
  • - Treat infestations promptly with insecticidal soap or neem oil

  • - Flowers emerge from a long stalk and can last for several weeks

Light Requirements:

  • - Prefers bright, indirect light but can tolerate low light conditions
  • - Avoid direct sunlight, which can scorch the leaves

Temperature Tolerance:

  • - Thrives in temperatures between 65°F and 85°F (18°C to 29°C)

A Really Good Buy

When this plant arrived it was blooming. I transplanted it about a week ago and it is still blooming and did not wilt. It is most beautiful shade of green, fresh and vibrant.

Healthy and Large

When I received the plant I could not believe how large and healthy it was, just wonderful. The packaging was excellent. I just wish more growing information was included but it can be found on their website.
