Plant Features

The leaves of the Spearmint Herb plant offer a lighter, sweeter flavor than most mints and is most often used for cooking in savory dishes, in teas, sweets, chewing gum, mixed drinks, toothpaste and fragrances. Mint is easy to grow and does well in full to part sun locations with moist soil. Plants can be aggressive if planted in the soil. They do great in containers. Pollinators love the flowers. It can be grown indoors within a few feet of a east, south, or west facing window. Indoor plants should be watered just as the potting mix starts to dry.

Spearmint

Plant arrived healthy, although droopy. Added water, 10 minutes later plant was standing healthy and happy about 4 tall. Been in the ground for about week now and has already grown to 7 in height

Mint-Spearmint Herb

I was very impressed with the plant that arrived. I think it might actually be a cutting from another plant because it looks so established! It transplanted so nicely and is doing great a few weeks after planting. Lovely spearmint smell from the leaves! Definitely easier than growing from seed.

Happy Planter

My spearmint plants was received alive (very good sized) and very well packed. They have been planted in containers on my balcony and are flourishing. I have been ordering from GrowJoy for at least four years and have always been pleased with the results. Last year I placed my order a bit late and some of the herbs I wanted were no longer available. I ordered from two other sources and was extremely disappointed in the results. The plants were small and sickly looking and a couple did not survive.
