Planting Instructions:

  • - Can be planted spring, summer, of fall

Soil Preparation:

  • - Ideal soil pH: 6.0-7.5

Watering Specifics:

  • - Water deeply during the establishment period, then allow the soil to dry between waterings
  • - Drought-tolerant once established; avoid overwatering

Fertilizer Type:

  • - Use a light application of balanced, slow-release fertilizer in early spring
  • - Over-fertilization can reduce the plant's aromatic oils and bloom production

Pruning and Training:

  • - Deadhead spent blooms to encourage continued flowering throughout the season
  • - Cut back plants by half in late winter or early spring to promote vigorous new growth

Additional Pest Management:

  • - Naturally resistant to most pests and diseases, making it an easy-care plant

Blooming Indicators:

  • - Blooms continuously from early summer to late fall

Light Requirements:

  • - Can tolerate light shade, especially in hotter climates

Temperature Tolerance:

  • - Thrives in temperatures between 60-85°F
  • - Heat and drought tolerant; does not perform well in overly wet soils

Companion Plants for Agastache:

  • - Euphorbia: Their unique foliage and flowers contrast well with Agastache's spikes
  • - Gaura: Adds a light, airy texture to the garden with its delicate flowers
  • - Penstemon: These perennials bring additional vertical interest and attract pollinators
  • - Sedum: Low-growing, drought-tolerant, and offers a beautiful contrast with Agastache's upright form

Plant Inn Mini-Greenhouse & Storage System

The mini-greenhouse is actually nice, once you get it put together. It started out easy in the beginning, but became more difficult to understand the All picture instructions rather then written instructions. Would like another one, but my husband will not put it together...

Agastache plant-Recent Order

Having had a bad experience with another online gardening company, I was a little hesitant about ordering. I placed the order with GrowJoy(which was a very easy process) and received my order within 2 weeks. My Summer Raspberry Agastache plant was packed well, looked very healthy and is now a welcome addition to my garden. Thank you.

Gorgeous Agastache!

Love this Agastache and so do the Hummingbirds! One of my favorite Agastaches! Gorgeous flowers during the Summer season! Make sure you don't cut back the stems until you see new Spring growth of leaves. I even wait til mid to late Spring in case there's a late frost/freeze. A winner of an Agastache!
